all good stuff.
all good stuff.
All of our candles are made by us in small batches and are hand-poured with sustainable, non-GMO coconut wax that burns cleanly and slower than other waxes. They are infused with essential oils and clean fragrances with no dyes, parabens, toxins or phthalates. They are 100% vegan and of course cruelty-free. Our cotton wicks are lead and zinc free and our packaging is made with recycled material. Each candle is 10 oz and will burn 50+ hours.

TRIM AND LIMIT. Trim the wick to 1/4 in. before each burn, and do not burn your candle more than 4 hours at a time. Discontinue use when 1/4 in. of unmelted wax remains.
WATCH IT, PLACE IT & KEEP CLEAR. Always keep the wax pool free of all debris, and never leave your candle unattended. Keep your candle away from pets, children and anything that could be flammable. Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant and fireproof surface that is flat, sturdy and large enough to catch any melted wax. Keep any lit candle away from drafts. And do not place candles too closely together as they can create their own draft and cause the candles to flare.
SNUFF IT & BE CAREFUL. Always snuff your candle before you leave a lit candle. And be careful as the container may be hot and wax may splatter.
CONSULT. Consult your healthcare provider about using essential oils and fragrances, particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have allergies, or have small children or pets at home.

We started The House Candle because we love candles and think everyone should enjoy them worry-free. Our love for, and inspiration of, nature and the power of nature is reflected in our candles.
We use coconut wax that is organic, vegan and sustainable as well as gluten-free, toxin-free, paraben-free and phthalate-free. It is also Leaping Bunny Certified - cruelty free. In addition, it is able to handle a larger fragrance load which enables our premium-blended clean scents to fill your room.
Because we only use pure essential oils and clean fragrances, you can have peace of mind to burn any of our candles without the fear of breathing in toxins or chemicals. No carcinogens, no mutagens, no reproductive toxins, no organ toxins and no acute toxins.
Feel good. Do good. Celebrate yourself, your ‘me time’, and time with family and friends with our inspired-by-nature candles. You deserve it and our environment deserves it.

There are fun and useful ways to repurpose your tumbler after you’ve enjoyed your candle. First, you need to clean out the wax. For us, the easiest way to do it is as described below (please check out other ways online that may be easier for you!)
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Completely line your baking sheet with aluminum foil (fold over the sides) and place your tumbler upside down on the foil. Place the baking sheet in a heated oven. Please keep a close eye on your tumbler. After about 15 minutes, the wax should pool on the foil. Once pooled, with oven mitts carefully take the baking sheet out of the oven, and set it on a heat-safe surface. Let the tumbler cool before wiping it clean with a paper towel (do not discard any wax down your drain) then clean it with soap and warm water. Once the foil and wax has cooled, wrap up the foil and discard it.
Here are a couple of fun ideas for your repurposed tumbler: succulent or plant pot, a holder for matches, put it in your bathroom to hold items such as cotton pads or tips, toothbrush or makeup brushes; or put it on your desk to hold pens, pencils or markers.
